Dear Supporters and Friends of the ministry. This is the time of year when we can reflect on what transpired from the beginning of this year to its soon ending. In short order, life and death had its display. Babies were born (life) while death left its mark on both, the good and the bad. Solomon in his wisdom made a profound statement: “To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven: A time to be born and a time to die,” Ecclesiastes (3:1-2a)-AMP
The Apostle Paul wrote in the Book of Hebrews, “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27) NKJV.
“Then said I, Behold, I come; in the volume of the book it is written of Me; I delight to do Your Will, O My God; yes, Your law is within My heart” (Psalm 40:7-8); Then I said, Behold, here I am, coming to do Your Will, O God-[to fulfill} What is written of Me in the volume of the Book” (Hebrews 10:7). AMP
We are so glad that He came to fulfill the will of God as written. Commercially, He is being celebrated in many parts of the world. Spiritually, He is continuously celebrated in our hearts as we give Him glory and honor.
6 For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6). KJV
SPECIAL Thanks to Violet Fairweather-Baker,
Secretary/Treasurer for the Jamaican Voice International (JVI) and a loving and highly respected step-daughter, that graciously stepped in- In honor of her father, Dr. Gladstone Henry Fairweather, who now resides in the presence of the Lord, to carry on the administrative oversight of the work and its varied operations. In addition to her ministry responsibilities, she is an educator, a wife and mother of two fine adult sons and one lovely daughter. She could be likened to the virtuous woman of Proverbs 31, who found the time to love and serve God, to be industrious, to demonstrate the Law of Kindness, [giving counsel and instruction}. Who honors and respect her husband. In conclusion: and I quote, “but A woman who reverently and worshipfully fear the Lord, she shall be praised!” (Proverbs 31:26-30)KJV
MINISTRY Accomplishments -2018
A new 2015 eight-seater van for the work – Donations were given in 2017 and the purchase was made in Japan. The van was shipped to the Kingston Jamaica Wharf in March/April 2018. We thank God for all who made contributions toward this major need. It is presently used to pick-up ministers or guests at the airport; to transport minister’s to meetings and members of the congregation as needed.

OATH CEREMONY
December 6, 2018 7:30 A.M. downtown Nashville, TN USA It worked out for me to be in the states for Thanksgiving, the first time since 2012 when we were taking Pastor Stoney for therapy. Pete had missed his initial appointment scheduled November 16, due to his work schedule and not being there to check the mailbox. God’s timing was perfect! Upon my arrival November 20, Violet and I was out and decided to check the mailbox and to our amazement there was a letter from Immigration/Homeland Security for a New Appointment. And we were hoping that he could be rescheduled while I was there. After he filled out the new form and answered the questions, he received a new date for December 6, same time and I was able to cancel my flight to December 8, to be present at his swearing in as a US Citizen. It was something to behold. There were 62 applicants from various countries around the world including Pete. We give thanks to FATHER for orchestrating “perfect Timing” for this monumental event where I could be present to represent him as his mother and family member amongst others that were present. His father would have been elated over his achievement.
CALABAR LCC
The walls are up. The building is now ready for the roof. A closer look within the picture will show the original board building where the members and visitors worship. A major company in the area, that is Tanksweld, helps churches as a community service to complete their building by putting on the roof. They are presently building two bathrooms. (male and female) the only bathroom facility is on the outside. Pastor Taylor is a hard worker. Since she’s been pastoring, the membership has tripled and they have labored together and bricked the church.
A SPECIAL GIFT
A very dedicated couple from LaVergne, Tennessee that has stood with the ministry for years gave a very generous gift. All LCC benefited from the funds that were distributed according to the needs of each church. Some received more and some less. Two thousand USD provided materials toward the Canaan LCC foundation kitchen building fund /payroll to meet the needs of the native workers/Tradesmen. See the picture of the wall on another page with caption.
- Bathroom materials for the Wakefield Church; An Amplifier System with built in Speakers and funds for a smaller speaker for the pulpit section. The power company was responsible for a power outage that burned up the churches’ sound system. This too was replaced from the gift.
- Samuel Prospect the (Mother Church) Needed a complete toilet set and Tiles/tiling of the kitchen and Labor
- Calabar LCC needed a drum set
The pastor was able to purchase a 5-PC Drum Set
LFTS Bible College
Is presently receiving finances from a beautiful sister and her friends that puts together their finances and donates through PayPal on a monthly basis. Their gifts provide a stipend for a teacher and custodian. Thanks to the Father for moving on their hearts for this undertaking.
MINISTRY NEEDS
- Intercessors to pray daily for the Ministry and Leaders
- Children’s Games and Toys for children’s church
- Evangelists for soul-winning crusades –Psalmists and Musicians
- Giant Print Study Bibles
- Tambourines for all LCC (8) or two each
New supporters and friends of the ministry that have never given. There’s been a sharp decrease in the monthly contributions that is due to the following significant reasons: Retirement, Illness, deaths, relocating and other factors. Our aim is to be faithful, loyal, committed, and truthful to the work. The task is not easy but it is so rewarding when you see the remaining fruit. Your gifts are needed for the cause of the ministry. There are various needs and we thank FATHER how HE orchestrates and miraculously moves on hearts so that the monthly budget is met. We thank you so very much! The Lord will reward you for your love and faithfulness! The offering overlaps. Because of a short fall in last month’s gift, an unexpected offering came in from a church in Hueytown, AL and it was enough to complete November’s budget and a portion for this month. Thank God for the pastor and his congregation listening to the “Proceeding Word” and acting upon it.
CANAAN KITCHEN WALL IS NEAR THE TOP
[PIC]
AND ALMOST READY TO JOIN together for the roof Gifts were received from God WHY to dig the foundation, lay the steel and blocks. The pastor also sacrificed funds that were set aside to buy a 3-PC Living Room sofa set, but made a decision to put it into the kitchen project and brought it to the level where it is now. The couple’s gift purchased steel and ply-board and met the payroll for the local tradesmen.
A Praise Report:
SES, Manager J. Brammer blessed the ministry with two dynamic Shure Cordless Microphones/system, a Keyboard, and a box of AA DURACEL Batteries. Special thanks to you from the ministry. What a blessing! You have fulfilled an urgent need. Those requests were in the November Newsletter and were immediately fulfilled. Due to an Embargo to the Caribbean from November 15, 2018 thru January 7, 2019 they were left in the secretary/treasurer’s care and will be brought here by a mission’s pastor and the team from GOD WHY Ministries, Hendersonville, TN Since the Microphones are delicate they will be specifically brought here in their carry-on along with the Microphone System. The Keyboard will be sent after January 7, since no boxes will be accepted by the airlines until the Embargo is lifted. Special thanks to Pastor Ricky Spencer who coordinated these gifts to be sent here to Jamaica. After we have the items in our possession, pictures will be taken and put into a future newsletter.
The PAYPAL ACCOUNT was setup about two years ago by the young man that put together the LCC website.
